Kamilah is a public health professional, adjunct professor, mindfulness facilitator, and intrinsic health & well-being coach. She has over a decade of experience in planning and implementing evidence-based interventions, health education workshops, risk-reduction counseling, and professional and community training.

Kamilah is the founder of The Mindful Woman, LLC. Kamilah established The Mindful Woman, LLC which merges her public health knowledge and mindfulness. The Mindful Woman, LLC, centers on sharing mindfulness practices centered on self-awareness and self-care for the purposes of cultivating rest, healing, and well-being. 

Kamilah received her B.S. in Public Health from Temple University and her MPH from the Rutgers School of Public Health. Kamilah served as a founding board member of the Newark Center for Meditative Culture (NCMC), in Newark, NJ and she is a visiting mindfulness presenter with the organization. She has attended the  Holistic Life Foundation’s Youth and Yoga training and is currently a student in Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach!s Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher certification program.
