We Welcome You to IMCW People of Color Sangha!

Saturday June 22, 2019

TOPIC: "KEEPIN' IT 100! Changing the Stigma of Mental Health in POC Communities"

The IMCW People of Color Sangha welcomes you to be in community with us as we continue our discussion on Healing in POC communities.. This Sangha we will mindfully explore mental health in our communities. Here are questions to contemplate:

  • What is a toxic culture?

  • How does a toxic culture affect our ability to be in a community?

  • How does mindfulness of our mental health contribute to our healing?

"Being cut off from our own natural self-compassion is one of the greatest impairments we can suffer. Along with our ability to feel our own pain go our best hopes for healing, dignity, and love."

- Gabor Maté
