Realizing Wakanda: A vision for People of Color.

Travis Spencer will be leading this month's IMCW People of Color Sangha (POC).  The POC is Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:30 pm at Yoga Heights (3506 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 2 blocks south of the Georgia Avenue/Petworth metro). Parking is on the street.

Please make every effort to arrive on time, and if you arrive late, please ring the bell at the front door. Some cushions, blankets, and chairs are available at the studio. If you are able to bring your own sitting gear, please do.

This Sangha we will:

  • Introduce the benefits of Mindful Living to support growth of the People of Color Community

  • Introduce Mindfulness as an internal (self) and external (community) experience.

  • Introduce basic Mindfulness practices.

  • Introduce the benefits of

    • Healthy Consumption

    • Commitment & Consistency – Creating time for practice. Discovering the benefits of Mindful Living.

    • Trusting yourself – What resonates most for your life?
